Welcome Parishioners, Families, and Friends,

We welcome you to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Website.  We pray that you will find your visit a positive experience.

Our Lady of Lourdes parish was established in 1947.  We invite you to come for a personal visit.  We have a lovely campus with a beautiful Church.  Inside the Church you will see a marble altar at the center for the Eucharistic sacrifice, and behind the altar, a Tabernacle which houses the Eucharistic Lord.  On each side of the Tabernacle is an angel in an act of Adoration.  The walls of our Church are lined with stained glass windows, depicting Our Lady and the Grotto at Lourdes, the Holy Trinity, the Sacraments, the Creation Story, and the New Covenant with Jesus Christ.  On the south side of the Church building is a Blessed Sacrament Chapel in which you have the privilege of quiet prayer 24 hours a day.

On the south side of the Church you have the opportunity to begin praying the Rosary in the presence of marble sculptures depicting the Joyful Mysteries.  You may then advance to the north side to find a Memorial Garden in which you can continue praying the Mysteries of the Rosary at the marble sculptures which depict the Luminous, Sorrowful, and Glorious mysteries of the Rosary.  Directly across from the Mysteries are the Stations of the Cross in their own marble sculptures.  As you continue your prayer walk, you will see our lovely outdoor grotto, which was built to resemble the grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes at Massabielle in Lourdes, France.

At the center of the campus, we boast of Our Lady of Lourdes School which provides academic opportunities for grades Pre-K through 8th grades.

We are pleased with our Church, School, and Campus, and we pray that if you have the privilege of visiting us, it will be a prayerful, contemplative experience for you.

Dear Parents,

Welcome to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School!

Our Lady of Lourdes is a member of the Archdiocese of Denver Catholic Schools and is nationally accredited by Advanced Ed (the National Accreditation Department).  Lourdes offers rigorous academic formation that is rooted in the Catholic Faith.   We offer challenging instruction and religious formation from Pre-Kindergarten through eighth grade to supplement and support our families.  Our teachers incorporate technology into all of their lessons and incorporate in-class instruction of technology that corresponds with their content area.  We also implement Andrew Pudewa’s “Excellence in Writing” program in 1st-8th grade and Saxon Math and Grammar programs in grades kindergarten and first grade.

In addition to the academic excellence at Our Lady of Lourdes, we also have a wide variety of co-curricular activities to offer your children.  Our athletic department offers basketball, volleyball and cross country.  We have one of the only Performing Arts Programs in the diocese and present two productions each year.  We have a Junior Great Books Program that promotes reading and discussion of classical literature.   The Little Flowers group is a Catholic social club for elementary age girls that promotes and teaches virtues and character building.  Our Lady of Lourdes is also proud to implement a school wide Social Training program to promote virtuous behavior and Christian character formation in all situations.  Our faculty and staff work hard to give your children whole person formation.

Our students love to participate in speech team, choir, and annual science and art fairs.  Students in the seventh and eighth grade have Outdoor Lab trips to Keystone Science School and Estes Park.

Lourdes truly is an enriched school with high academics that produce Catholic leaders.  Our teachers are highly qualified and embrace the mission of Catholic Education and the vision at Our Lady of Lourdes.

Our school community looks forward to welcoming you and showing you what Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School has to offer you and your family!

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to call the school office.  I look forward to meeting you and serving you in Catholic Education!

In Christ,

Rosemary Anderson

Principal
